The short version: You can use the app entirely as a guest: no account, no login, and nothing you do leaves your device. If you choose to create an account, we collect only your email address and your study progress so we can sync it across your devices. There are no ads, no analytics, no tracking, and we never sell your data. You can delete your account and all synced data at any time from within the app.

As a guest: none. Without an account we do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, location, contacts, or device identifiers. We do not use analytics or advertising tools.
With an optional account: if you choose to sign up, we collect:
Accounts and synced data are handled by Supabase, our backend provider, hosted in the European Union (Ireland). We use this data for authentication and progress sync only — nothing else. We do not use it for advertising, profiling, or analytics, and we never sell it or share it with third parties for their own purposes.
To make the app work, some information is saved locally on your device:
This information is stored on your device using the operating system's local storage. If you are not signed in, it is never transmitted to us or to any third party. If you sign in, a copy of your study progress is synced to your account as described in Section 2. Local data stays under your control: you can erase it at any time using the "reset progress" option in the app's settings, or by deleting the app.
The app may occasionally download an updated set of study questions from our content server so we can correct or improve questions without a full app update. This request downloads a content file only and does not send any personal data about you. As with any internet request, our hosting provider may briefly and automatically process technical connection information (such as an IP address) to deliver the file; we do not use this to identify you and do not retain it for that purpose.
If you create an account, authentication and synced data are processed by Supabase on our behalf, on servers in the EU (Ireland), under their own security and data-processing commitments.
The app is distributed through the Apple App Store (and, if released there, the Google Play Store). Your download and any purchases are handled by those stores under their own privacy policies, not ours. We do not receive personal data from them beyond anonymous, aggregated sales information.
The app is a study aid suitable for general audiences. Guest use collects no personal data from anyone, including children, and accounts are entirely optional.
If you have an account, you can delete it — together with all synced data — directly in the app: Settings > Delete account. This permanently removes your email address and synced progress from our systems; progress already stored on your device stays on that device until you reset or delete the app. You can also contact us at support@passready.app to exercise your rights of access, correction, or deletion.
If you use the app as a guest, we hold no personal data about you; everything is stored locally and is fully within your control, as described in Section 3.
If we change how the app handles data, we will update this policy and revise the "Last updated" date above, and where appropriate ask for your consent within the app.
